Family Recipes & Genes

"We share a lot of family recipes we try to pass down through generations, but one thing we also pass down is our biology, our genetics."

One of the reasons the All of Us Research program exists is to learn more about our genetic material that is made up of DNA. DNA is an important source of information about health. Researchers can study DNA to make discoveries such as identify what makes you more or less likely to develop a disease or find out how environment, lifestyle, and genes can impact your health. The All of Us Research Program is looking to connect with 1 million people to help move our healthcare system from a one size fits all model to individualized care. If you're interested in joining, visit joinallofus.org. What recipes or meals have been passed down to you?
