What is Giving Tuesday? #GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. The National Tongan American Society (NTAS) is proud to participate in #GivingTuesday.
ABOUT THE NTAS
The NTAS is one of the longest running 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations to advocate for and empower all Tongan-Americans and Pacific Islanders in the USA. Since 1994, the NTAS has created programs for the Tongan-American community that promote civic engagement, optimal health, youth development, education, the arts, and festivals that perpetuate Tongan culture and values.
OUR GOAL
Our goal for #GivingTuesday is to raise $5000. Your donation will help us to continue programs such as our Citizenship Fair to assist Pacific Islander immigrants become US citizens, community health outreach and education, increase the electorate by making voter registration accessible to all, and fund scholarships to ensure that Tongan-American and Pacific Islander students realize their dreams of achieving a higher education degree.
