SPORTS – Sione A. Mokofisi, sports director
Welcome to the National Tongan-American Society (NTAS) division of Sports activities. Our Mission is activating NTAS (also referred to as the "Society") community members, families, and their friends to:
-
Live active and physically motivated lives.
-
Enjoy physical activities socially.
-
Learn to respect fair competition.
-
Strive to become life-time sports champions.

The Society has a long tradition with the game of Rugby Union (15 and 7-players versions) featured in its annual “Friendly Islands Festival.” Coed-volleyball and women’s net-ball have been added in recent years; tennis and boxing are the new additions to the 2008 Festival.
